The vision of Cantus Firmus Trust is to encourage the development of the creative arts in Christian worship, in the Colchester and Ipswich areas and further afield. We do this in a number of ways:

Cantus Firmus Choir - an interchurch choir meeting occasionally to prepare and present creative acts of worship, and available to support church and interchurch events.

cre8 - for children aged 8 - 15 who want to grow in their faith and develop skills in dance and drama. The group is available to take part in church and outdoor events, and has led workshop weekends across the UK.

Music Resources - Richard Hubbard’s popular choral arrangements are available through the Trust.

Creative Worship Events - acts of worship for interchurch events or individual churches, which draw on a wide variety of resources from across the spectrum of worship streams.

Creative Writing Workshops - opportunities to explore and develop skills in creative words for worship, in poems, songs, hymns, liturgical texts and drama.
