On Saturday 7 January 2012, we are holding a Vision Day in the delightful surroundings of Assington Hall, about eight miles north of Colchester.

This will be an opportunity to look at what Cantus Firmus has achieved in recent years, and to consider where we go from here.

We want to encourage more choir members, musicians, parents of cre8 members and those on the various planning groups to be involved in helping us plan what happens next. We need your ideas! 

It will be a great opportunity for relaxed time together in the cosy Armchairs of Assington - do come! If you need transport, please let us know. Please bring your own lunch and we will provide tea, coffee etc for the comfort breaks!  To help cover the necessary expenses, we invite a donation to Cantus Firmus of between £10 and £15 per person, depending on how much you can afford; this amount can be Gift Aided if you are a UK tax payer.

The day begins at 10am and ends at around 4pm. Our Facilitator is Rev. John Leach, whose former leadership of Music and Worship Foundation makes him an ideal person to help us move forward. It will be a time of reflection and searching, discerning what the Holy Spirit would have us be and do, and finding the resources to do the work.
