Getty Music
Keith & Kristyn Getty, writers of some of the most popular contemporary hymns and songs that bridge the gap between old and new, are making their material available free during the crisis. See their statement HERE
Jubilate
Jubilate has for more than 50 years sought to produce quality hymns and songs for the church, and has over 1500 texts and 800 tunes available through its website, all available to use free at this time. Take a look at their Songs for Times of Tragedy and Fear page.
Lee Abbey
Jon Pocock, of the Lee Abbey Christian Community in Devon, has penned the beautiful song All Our Certainties Are Gone, written especially for the church at this time, and has made it freely available. You can access a video and the sheet music HERE
ResoundWorship
ResoundWorship is a collective of writers who are dedicated to producing contemporary worship songs for the church that are easy for congregations to sing, and well-crafted both musically and theologically. Material may be streamed free of charge at this time.
There resources may be streamed free during the current crisis. See their information page HERE.
Royal School of Church Music
RSCM have been created new resources for the current situation. They have produced a Hymn for the Day video, containing instrumental accompaniment and lyrics, as well as Sunday Self-Service - a PDF service sheet for Pasiontide. Both can be found HERE.
Wild Goose Resource Group (Iona)
WGRG have received many enquiries about using their materials (which invlude the music of John Bell) free at this time.
For reproducing words, churches with a CCL or OneLicense licence will be covered in the usual way, and should report use of songs in their license returns (e.g. if a song is reprinted in a service sheet made available on a church website). For churches without a licence WGRG usually request a donation, but they are waiving this for the current crisis.
They have recently revised their INFORMATION SHEET explaining the position regarding music streaming.
